Melissa Okrasinski, Branch Manager and Senior Loan Originator for CMS Mortgage Solutions, Inc. located in Fredericksburg , Virginia, entered into the mortgage industry in 2001 and has been with CMS since December of 2014. With Extensive knowledge and experience in the finance industry as a whole, Melissa’s highest priority is to set proper expectations for her clients.
Melissa lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband, Jeremy, and two children, Madeline and Logan. Melissa is a member of the Rappahannock Rotary Club and has also served on the board of Fredericksburg Main Street. She is always actively seeking ways to give back to the local community and adores downtown FXBG. Melissa believes that if her expertise is in the housing industry, she is to help ALL of her neighbors, regardless of what pays and what does not.
While providing lending advice and being with her family, Melissa is almost always playing with some sort of yoga pose or inversion. She has a passion for yoga and integrates the philosophy everywhere in her life, especially in her career. When asked how yoga or even getting upside down translates into improved mortgage advice she replied, “The process of obtaining a mortgage can be one of the most overwhelming processes an individual or family goes through. My days are filled with a lot of emotion and problem solving. Yoga clears my mind and keeps me focused on my most important job – communicating with my clients.”
